The Clinician’s Choice™ supplement line is consistently scrutinized by our Scientific Advisory Board (SAB). Over the years, hundreds of independent, nationally recognized physicians, scientists and PhD nutritionists with expert knowledge in the field of science and nutrition help ensure the Clinician’s Choice brand remains rooted in solid science, not fad remedies or anecdotal evidence. Currently, our lead board members include:

John P. Mamana, M.D. – Internal Medicine

Dr. Mamana founded and managed a multi-specialty group practice, Virginia Medical Alliance. He is a clinical associate professor of medicine at Georgetown University. He is an executive with extensive Wall Street experience. He currently serves on the Board of two NYSE companies (American Health Properties and Mid-Atlantic Medical Services, Inc.) and has held the position as CEO/Chairman of a regional healthcare company, Gateway Physician Services, Inc. Dr. Mamana was the co-founder, Executive Vice-President and Chief Medical Officer of a physician practice management company, HPI, which recently merged into a publicly traded corporation.

Alexander G. Nein, M.D. – Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Nein is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has been certified by the American Board of Surgery [general surgery]. He is on the medical staff of several major hospitals in Nashville including one that has been ranked as one of America’s top 100 hospitals. He has co-authored several articles, appearing in the Journal of Trauma, Cardiovascular Surgery and The Louisiana State Medical Society Journal.

A member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, Dr. Nein is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has also been an active participant in Operation Smile – the organization that provides medical service throughout the world to children and people otherwise unable to receive care for major medical problems such as cleft lips and cleft palates and other congenital defects.

Judy A. Hunter, MD

Judy A. Hunter, MD, graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and completed her medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. She completed a residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan where she was chief resident. Dr. Hunter was in private practice in Michigan and New Jersey. A member of Phi Beta Pi Theta Kappi Si Medical Fraternity/Sorority and the Association of Black Women Physicians, she currently is the lead pediatric physician at the Torrance Specialty office.

Dr. Leon Smith

Dr. Leon Smith received his B.S in Biology, magna cum laude, from Birmingham Southern College in 1982. He received his medical doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1986. Dr. Smith completed his residency at Tallahassee Memorial Regional Medical Center where he did extensive emergency room work and developed the area’s first smoking cessation clinic.

Dr. Smith was Chief of Family Medicine Service at South Georgia Medical Center in 1997. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Society for Adolescent Medicine. He is also Assistant Clinical Professor at both Medical College of Georgia and Mercer University School of Medicine.

Ronald Sancetta, M.D. – Obstetrics/Gynecology

Specializing in OB/GYN, Dr. Sancetta has been in private practice since 1989, prior to going solo, he was on the board of Fem-Well OB-GYN serving the Miami area. Professional experiences include solo practice in OB/GYN and fertility, OB/GYN for the National Health Service Corp. and the Family Health Center in Miami. Dr. Sancetta attended Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA and Georgetown University School of Medicine in Georgetown.

Dr. Daniel Moss

Dr. Daniel Moss is a Board Certified Chiropractor specializing in family wellness and pediatric chiropractic. Dr. Moss received a B.A. in History from The George Washington University in Washington D.C. in 1999. He then went on to earn a Chiropractic Degree in 2003 from Sherman College in Spartanburg SC. Dr. Moss believes that if you keep your nervous system free of interference through regular Chiropractic care, you will optimize your health potential.
